Baphumelele relies on your donations to make the difference in the lives of the children, young people, and patients who are cared for by our various projects.

General List

When considering your donation to Baphumelele, it may be helpful to know that items such as toys and stuffed animals are thoughtful donations, but ultimately go unneeded in our facilities. Please consider the items below on our wish list that describe the more essential items that we need on a regular basis.

  • Toiletries: soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, towels, sanitary pads for girls, etc.
  • School uniforms and stationery: school packs, black stockings/leggings, white school socks, A4 paper, flip files, plastic sleeves, level arch lever files, pens, pencils, exercise books, and 1-quire, 2-quire, and 3-quire books
  • Art supplies: acrylic colors, A3 paper, pencils, 10m paper rolls, paintbrushes, etc.
  • Baby supplies: nappies (in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes), Vaseline, aqueous cream, wet wipes, etc.

  • Household goods: warm blankets, bed sheets, duvet covers, and children’s pajamas
  • Pre-loved gadgets
