As Christmas draws near, we look back with deep gratitude for another year filled with love and community. Each child who calls Baphumelele home has a story. Some filled with pain, all filled with courage — and thanks to the compassion of our supporters, they also have something far greater: a future worth believing in.
This festive season we watch our children decorate the home with excitement — but we also observe their concern about the upcoming school year, which starts in January. To ease their worries and help them start the school year with confidence, we are wishing for back-to-school funds and supplies.
Notebooks to write their stories. Pencils to draw their dreams. Backpacks to carry their hopes. It may seem small, but to our children, it means the world. It means they can walk into their classrooms with pride: ready to learn, ready to shine.
How you can help make our wish come true:
- Donate anything on our current wishlist, especially school uniforms (details on the wishlist page) and supplies (pens, pencils, notebooks, rulers, crayons, backpacks, etc.)
